Parents

In recent years parental involvement with schools has become more extensive
because parents have become more aware of their legal obligations and
responsibilities regarding the education of their children and because of government
commitment and concern to extend parents' influence in schools.

There can be no doubt that a child's education is the joint responsibility of parents
and teachers, and that a co-operative home-school relationship will help each child to
develop his/her full potential. A positive, supportive and genuine partnership between
home and school can only serve to improve each child's attitude, behaviour and
motivation.
