Edenderry Primary School participates annually in the Road Safety Education
Offices's Cycling Proficiency Scheme.

Children from primary 7 receive 10 sessions covering all aspects of safe
cycling. These include the Highway Code, starting, stopping and overtaking, the
correct procedure for using junctions and traffic lights, bicycle maintenance as
well as general bike safety and control issues..
