Edenderry Primary School is served by a principal, a teaching vice principal, thirteen
mainstream class teachers, three Learning Support Centre teachers and one support
teacher. The teaching staff are assisted by a highly motivated team of support staff that
include the school secretary, caretaker, classroom assistants, canteen staff, supervisory
assistants and patrolmen.

All pupils in mainstream classes are taught in single year group classes. In 2004/2005
the school enrolment of 334 will be distributed over 14 classes from Primary One to
Primary Seven, giving an average class size of 24. In addition there are 21 pupils
enrolled in the Learning Support Centres.

It is the school's policy to maximise the abilities of our teaching staff through timetabling
teachers with specific skills and abilities to teach subjects such as Art, Music, Physical
Education and Technology across the Key Stages.
