Celebrating Grade 1 Drum Major Awards

We are absolutely delighted to share some fantastic news about two of our talented P4 pupils, Ellie and Willow, who have recently been awarded their Grade 1 Drum Major Certificate at Stormont in Belfast; an outstanding achievement that reflects their dedication, discipline, and passion.

To mark this success, Ellie and Willow treated our P1–P4 assembly to a truly memorable exhibition of their skills. Their performance left everyone in awe, as they demonstrated remarkable hand and eye coordination, precision, and confidence. It was clear to all who watched just how much practice, perseverance, and effort they have invested in perfecting their craft.

Both girls are proud members of the Tyrone Ditches Pipe Band, where they play a leading role as drum majors. With poise and professionalism beyond their years, they proudly lead the band, showcasing their brilliant abilities at every opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of Ellie and Willow. Their commitment and success are an inspiration to others, and we look forward to seeing all they continue to achieve in the future.
