🚀 Primary 6 Launch Into Learning with Rocket Science!
22nd Oct 2025
Primary 6 have been blasting off with excitement this week as part of their Space topic in World Around Us! To explore the forces involved in rocket launches, the class watched a thrilling rocket experiment using a plastic bottle, baking soda and vinegar.
The demonstration showed what happens when these ingredients react together — producing gas that built up pressure inside the bottle until it launched high into the air! There were plenty of countdowns, fizzing reactions and excited cheers as the rocket took off.
The class were full of great questions and curiosity about how real rockets work and what it might be like to travel into space.
Well done, Primary 6 — your enthusiasm for science is truly out of this world! 🌍✨
