Book Fair
Once again, we want to say a very sincere and massive thank you to each and every one of our pupils, parents and staff who together showed amazing support for our Edenderry Book Fair over this past week.
It’s fantastic to see in the snapshots shared, the genuine buzz and hive of excitement stirred up in our pupils by the arrival of so many good books which they could handle, explore and have the opportunity to purchase. There really is nothing quite like picking a book out for yourself and then taking it home to read and enjoy! This is what we want to encourage our pupils to find real pleasure in.
This 2025 Edenderry Book Fair has been another outstanding success, reaching a very similar total amount of sales to last year. This in turn, as a result of our partnership with Travelling Books and Scholastic, will again generate very close to £1400 in direct rewards back for Edenderry PS.
This will be deeply appreciated by our staff who will now work together and use this purposefully to update our ever expanding and developing main school library, reading resources and in-class libraries across the entire school.
Your support for Edenderry is never taken for granted and please do not underestimate the positive impact this will have on our school’s educational aims and targets.
