This summer, children across Northern Ireland are invited to take part in the Big Summer Read at Libraries NI.

This year’s theme is The Story Tree

Every book adds another leaf as children grow their own reading tree across the summer holidays.

✔ Free to join
✔ Open to primary school-aged children
✔ Running in libraries throughout July and August

Through this fun and imaginative challenge, children can explore new stories, earn rewards, and watch their love of reading blossom all summer long.

🌟 We strongly encourage all our pupils and families to take part in this excellent free resource — a perfect way to maintain and build on all the fantastic reading progress made throughout the school year.
