A small group of our School's council members went to Lurgan today for a very auspicious meeting. These budding politicians and public spirited pupils had an audience with no less than the Northern Ireland Children's Commissioner.
The four P6s and P7s spent the morning chatting and discussing the rights of Children with an eminent panel of peers and public figures. During a very lively morning, our pupils represented the school with enthusiasm, impressive answers and big smiles.
A great morning out and a brilliant experience for our young politicians. Hopefully our school will be able to link in with the Commissioner in the future to empower and enhance the futures of our children.
