End of Year Rugby Match vs Bocombra
Today, we were delighted to welcome our neighbouring school and friendly rivals, Bocombra, for a fantastic day of rugby to round off the season.
All pupils who have attended practices this year, from P5 to P7, were involved and had the opportunity to play in at least one match. For many of our P5 pupils, this was their first experience of wearing the school kit and representing the school in a game against another team. We hope this memorable experience will inspire them to continue participating in sport throughout their time in school.
In total, six matches were played, with some excellent rugby on display from both teams. There were plenty of tries, strong tackles, and impressive skills shown throughout the day, much to the enjoyment of coaches, teachers, and parents alike.
To round off the event, everyone enjoyed a well-earned treat of a Suki drink and crisps, kindly donated by our local shop, Moutrays, Killicomaine. We are very grateful for their generosity and continued support within our community.
A big well done to all pupils involved for their effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship!
