The rugby team had a very successful day at the Gilpin Blitz held at Portadown Rugby Club. Our pupils represented the school brilliantly, showing great determination to put in many successful tackles, passes and tries throughout the day. This was especially impressive given that they had only one practice session beforehand!
The children played extremely well, supporting one another and demonstrating fantastic sportsmanship in every match.
We were also very fortunate to enjoy amazing weather, which made the whole event even more enjoyable for everyone involved.
A big thank you to the organisers at Ulster Rugby for hosting such a well-run and enjoyable tournament.
We are already looking forward to our next tournament in a couple of weeks’ time!
