Our girls' football team stepped out in their new 'House of Fireplaces' sponsored kits yesterday at the Mid-Ulster Schools' tournament. Our team struggled initially against strong opposition that included girls with regular Saturday morning footballers, but they improved immensely as the tournament progressed. After some early defeats, the girls went on to achieve a draw and then their first win. The girls really enjoyed the occasion, despite the disappointing weather, and with five of the squad being in P6, we have high hopes for even more progress next year. A huge thank you to Carla Stevenson, from House of Fireplaces, who part-sponsored the new kit, who was there to cheer the girls on.
