Girls’ Hockey League Matches

2nd Mar 2026
Our Girls’ Hockey team travelled to Edenvilla today for two competitive league matches and put in a fantastic effort throughout.
In the opening game against Millington, the girls showed great determination and secured a well deserved 1–0 win. Their teamwork, pressure on the ball and strong defensive play made the difference.
The second match was another tight contest, this time against Seagoe. Despite creating good chances and working hard across the pitch, the team were narrowly defeated 1–0.
Today the girls demonstrated real progress—particularly in adapting to playing two full halves, which is very different to the shorter tournament games last week. This experience gave them valuable learning moments and highlighted areas to continue developing.
The team now look ahead to next week’s Mid Ulster Tournament, motivated and ready to build on today’s performances.
Well done, girls! 👏
