After a VERY early start from school, we journeyed to Belfast and then on to Cairnryan by ferry, before arriving safely at our first destination, the Glasgow Science Centre. Here we enjoyed an outdoor packed lunch in the glorious sunshine before a 'Passport to the Planets' experience at the planetarium. We then worked our way around the many hands-on and practical experiments.
We then travelled the short distance to Glenlee Tall Ship, where we enjoyed a guided tour of the decks, the galley, the sleeping quarters, the engine room and the cargo hold. The guides were seriously impressed with our manners, our knowledge and our critical thinking!
We then negotiated some seriously busy Glasgow traffic en-route to our hotel, where we checked and enjoyed a much-anticipated evening meal.
Everyone is safe, well and happy. The teachers are now hoping that we are as tired as they are and will soon be tucked up in bed, ready for another early start tomorrow.
