After another early breakfast, we set off for Blair Drummond Safari Park. We loved the Sea Lion show, swung like monkeys in the giant adventure playground and learned about the apes on Chimpanzee Island. We had a jam-packed visit with something for everyone to enjoy. We just about had enough time to squeeze in a tasty lunch and a visit to the gift shop!
We then set off on the long journey home but still found the time en-route to stretch our legs in Girvan.
We are now enjoying our evening meal on the Stenna Superfast Ferry but departure is delayed. Needless to say, we will arrive back at school exhausted but fulfilled after some wonderful new experiences.
The teachers who joined us on our trip are very proud of our interactions with our friends and the public. The hotel management described us as the best school group they have ever had. So, our teachers are particularly proud of our manners throughout two wonderful days in Scotland!
