Key Stage 2 Sports Day

15th Jun 2026

Key Stage 2 had a really enjoyable morning at their Sports Day. The weather was much kinder this week and all races went ahead as planned.

Each class eagerly cheered on their classmates and enjoyed spotting friends and family in the crowd opposite. A highlight, as always, was watching friends and family take part in their own adult race. Thanks to all who attended to cheer on the children and add to the atmosphere of the morning.

On behalf of all of us, and, of course, our children, I would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Mullan for the outstanding work he has put into planning and overseeing our brilliant Sports Days. The time, care and attention he has dedicated behind the scenes have been immense, and this has been matched by his enthusiasm, encouragement and energy in delivering each event.

Mr Mullan’s organisation ensures that everything runs smoothly and effectively, creating an inclusive atmosphere where every child, and their parents, feels involved and valued. These days are such a special part of school life, and that is largely thanks to his commitment and passion.

Mr Mullan now leaves behind huge Sports Day shoes to fill, and his contribution to this cherished tradition will be greatly missed.

Thank you Mr Mullan and thank you to your team of helpers and indeed to everyone in helping to make it another memorable year of summer sports.
