Our Principal Mr Blevins was one of 50 mentors who met with Year 10 students at the recent KJHS ‘Careers, GCSEs, What’s Next?’ Mentoring Event. The event is one of a number of initiatives aimed at providing high quality careers provision which is essential in today’s complex and changing employment market. The Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) is an important element of the Killicomaine’s provision and Mr Blevins was delighted to play a small part in supporting the subject and career decision-making of the Year 10s, many of whom were former Edenderry pupils. Our former pupils continue to matter to us and Mr Blevins was delighted to re-engage with them and help them in their attempts to make informed, considered and realistic decisions about their education, training and employment options.
