Our school cricket team had a brilliant day out today at the NCU Kwik Cricket competition, hosted by Friends’ School Lisburn.
For most of the boys and girls on the team, today marked their official introduction to competitive cricket. They stepped up to the challenge magnificently, playing a series of exciting matches against Inchmarlo, Killowen PS, Andrews Memorial, and Waringstown PS. After some fantastic batting, bowling, and fielding, the team came away with two hard-earned wins and two incredibly close losses.
More importantly than the results, the children showed wonderful team spirit and exemplary behavior. They were fantastic ambassadors for our school, supporting each other and playing with big smiles on their faces. Well done, team!
