This week, P6 took their Numeracy learning outdoors to explore how we can sort and display information using Venn diagrams. We drew three large, overlapping circles in the playground and stood in different sections to show who had a PlayStation, Xbox, or mobile phone.
It was a really fun and memorable way to bring maths to life! Once we’d organised ourselves, we talked about what we noticed and had some thoughtful discussions about screen time and how we use technology in our daily lives.
The activity helped us see how Numeracy connects to the real world — and made learning together both active and engaging.
