P7 Residential to Scotland – Day One Highlights

13th May 2026

What a jam-packed first day for our P7s on their Scottish adventure!

The day kicked off bright and early with bags loaded and excitement high as we set off for Belfast, ready to begin our journey across the water. After checking in at the terminal, we sailed over on the Stena Superfast, enjoying a tasty breakfast on board and some sea views along the way.

Once we arrived in Scotland, it was straight on the coach and onwards to Glasgow, with a quick comfort stop to recharge. First big stop of the day was the Glasgow Science Centre, where curiosity went into overdrive! The pupils explored the Science Mall, tucked into their packed lunches, and were wowed by the Passport to the Planets show in the planetarium before more hands-on science fun.

Next up, we headed to the iconic Transport Museum where we explored the historic vehicles and history came to life. After that, it was time to travel on to our home for the week.

We have now arrived at the Premier Inn Livingston, checked in, and finished the day with a well-earned dinner at the hotel. A long but fantastic first day full of travel, learning, and adventure.  Everyone is happy and well and ready for more tomorrow!
