Primary 2 enjoyed celebrating Pancake Tuesday! In a special assembly taken by Rev. Cadden, we talked about how people used up ingredients before Lent.
After assembly we measured some ingredients to make a batter, then put it on a pan and watched how heat changed the runny batter into a beautiful, golden pancake. Decorating the pancakes with our favourite toppings was the highlight for everyone!
At the end of the day, the class read Mr. Wolf’s Pancakes and practised their sequencing skills by retelling the story.
