Our two Primary 6 classes joined forces this week for an exciting outdoor Maths challenge! Working in pairs — with one child from each class — the pupils became angle detectives, hunting around the playground to find real-life examples of right angles, acute angles, obtuse angles, straight line angles, and reflex angles.
Armed with iPads, the children took photos of the angles they discovered in everyday objects like benches, goalposts, and climbing frames. These photos will be used to create colourful angle fact file posters back in class.
It was fantastic to see so much teamwork, problem-solving, and enthusiasm for learning in action. Great work, Primary 6 — you’ve proved that Maths really is all around us! 📸📐✨
