What is Easyfundraising?
Easyfundraising is a free fundraising app that allows our Edenderry PTA to raise money for the school when parents simply shop online. It’s the UK’s largest charity shopping platform, trusted by over 2.3 million fundraisers and more than 180,000 causes, with over £50 million raised since 2005.
How Does It Work?
Download the App (available on iOS and Android). See QR code below.
Choose Edenderry PTA as your cause – register an account and select the PTA as the cause you want to support.
Shop via the App – search for your favourite brands (over 8,000 retailers including John Lewis, eBay, Amazon, Expedia, supermarkets, and insurance providers).
Retailers Donate – when you make a purchase, the retailer pays Easyfundraising a commission, which is converted into a donation for your chosen cause.
Example: Spend £150 on a hotel via Booking.com → retailer donates 3% (£4.50).
Some brands offer flat donations (e.g., £15 for car insurance).
Track Donations – the app lets you monitor your contributions and receive notifications when your cause gets paid.
Important: It costs you nothing extra—the donation is funded by the retailer, not the shopper.
