We are very proud of Amelia and Logan who represented Edenderry Primary School at the Commemoration of the Centenary of the Portadown War Memorial and the Act of Remembrance this morning.
They stood with the King’s representative Mrs Jill Armstrong DL, Carla Lockhart MP and ABC Cllr Robbie Alexander, who is one of our P1 parents, before placing a poppy cross in the ground to commemorate the centenary. They later laid a wreath at the memorial in memory of former Edenderry pupils who have served their country as members of the armed forces. This is the first time the school has ever done this, but something we will now do annually.
As a school, we will always remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
