The End of an Era
Today marks the end of an era in Edenderry as the first of our two longstanding mobile classrooms has been removed from the site. The old brick playground store is demolished and the second old mobile will be removed next week, leaving the site clear for the exciting installation of two new state-of-the-art Specialist Provision classrooms and accompanying outdoor play facilities. We are delighted that these rooms are being located close to our woodlands and we aim to fully utilise that location in the opportunities will will now be able to offer to the children in those rooms.
This morning our children were so excited on arrival, to witness an enormous crane lift the first of the old mobiles. We are all very excited about the improved facilities. They will bring a new and exciting chapter for the school.
Thank you for your ongoing help and support in and around the school and the car park areas in particular, as we safely oversee this transition.
Thanks also to the Education Authority and JDC Building Works for their commitment to this project.
