We’ve had so much fun exploring our school grounds during this lovely Autumn season.
We’ve used the apples we picked in our orchard and the leaves, acorns, conkers, beech nuts and twigs that we gathered for lots of outdoor learning. We’ve sorted them by shape, colour and size and used them to develop our fine motor skills by making faces with tongs and threading leaves for our class indoor tree. Natural resources can be used in so many ways and we will keep using them in our outdoor play too!
We also went on a hunt to find bags with magnetic letters in them and had to make the high frequency words we’ve been working on in class.
We love getting outside to learn!
