Edenderry kicked off their season a little later this year due to the earlier cancellation of the first soccer blitz day, due to horrendous weather. Friday saw the lads take the field at Drumgor PS in one of the largest blitz days in memory, with literally dozens of schools there.
Our boys got drawn in a tough group and gave a great account of themselves. The results were not coming as we hoped, but every game was closely contested.
A great day out with a magic group of lads meant it was a success in our minds regardless.
