As part of our current WAU topic, ‘Polar Regions’ P4 have been testing out how blubber keeps polar animals warm in the icy conditions. We firstly dipped our fingers in the icy water and quickly realised that we couldn’t keep them there for very long. We then added some lard to our fingers which acts as the blubber then tried it again and recorded the results.
