Primary 7 Transfer to Post Primary Schools.

The application process for P7 children transferring to post primary schools in September 2021 has moved online. You can apply via the EA website between noon on 1st March and 4pm on Tuesday 16th March 2021.

You may be asked to upload documents with the online application. One of the documents will be your child's birth certificate.

EA are advising all parents of children transferring to visit the EA website well in advance of the portal opening in order to view the Admissions Criteria being used by individual schools. Many schools have made significant changes to the criteria they are using.

The EA are currently creating a "How To" video to explain the new process to parents. This will be available in a number of languages prior to the opening of the portal.
