Excitement has been high for the start of our new topic, ‘Polar Regions’. This week we began to learn about penguins. We gathered information on the iPads and wrote lots of penguin facts. We carried out a wet/dry investigation with wax and water to help us understand how the penguins’ feathers are waterproof. Some polar animal friends came to school with us today!
