Huge congratulations to Ben Harrison from our senior learning support class, who last week represented Edenderry Primary School at the Armagh International Road Races. The event is organised by Armagh Athletic Club and attracts athletes of the highest elite standards from all over the world. Last year out no fewer than 191 of the 237 finishers were from outside the island of Ireland, and incidentally the winner in 2019, Topi Raitanen of Finland, took gold in last summer’s European Championship steeplechase!
Ben competed in race five which included boys and girls from Special Schools and Special Olympics clubs. Brilliant work Ben, we are delighted and proud that you competed for Edenderry at such a prestigious event.
